Title: Any mods out there to change the default controller mapping?

I found one that changes it for the Steam version but it doesn't detect my 1998 version for whatever reason..

I know i can change it when i start my game but jesus is that annoying haha.

the controler config for the psx is saved in your savefile and can be chaned with black chocobo and/or replaceing part of the defalut save map in the kernel.

for the pc the file responcible for mapping the controlls is

file:<ff7path>/ff7input.cfg

an editor would be needed to edit this file as the data is stored in binary format.
