Welcome Alice.
I would suggest you to play FF7. It is really good.
-
I suggest playing either FF7 or FF8
-
Welcome!
FF6 and FF7 are probably my favorites, with FF4, 5, 8, and 9 close behind. :P
-
I would suggest FF6 & FF7~
FF8 - I didn’t like Chocobo Forest quests, but nice CGs
FF9 - I couldn't do over 1000 jumps (made me very upset), and Chocobo side quests wasn't really fun to play! (Unlike FF7 & FF8)...
FF10 - Still working on it (Good Game)...

FFVI is awesome, especailly the real version.
FFVIII is really cool, except Squall is dumb.
FFVII is very nice, the bad guy is the kind you REALLY want to kill.
FFIX is pretty good, once you get into it.
FFV is very interesting, the jobs make it challenging enough.
FFIV is strange, but very cool.
FFX isn't that good if you started with pre-playstation FFs or even pre-FFIX.

Let's not forget FF1, and FFTactics X3
-
Final Fantasy Tactics!!! Very good game reminds me of Shining Force 1, 2 & 3 ^^... But classes in FFT is little confusing! Moreover, it's a good game, easy to play, and good storyline!!!

Phantasy Star~
-
Yeah, Phantasy Star 4 was good. And Phantasy Star 1 and 2 were ok. But I thought the third one was horrible, never finished it.
--Edit--
I mispelled good.
-
i'd suggest ff6, although ive never taken the time to beat it. maybe i will sometime ^^
-
Me too. I bought it for the PS, got half way through, then got sick of the load times and the extremely high encounter rate. I doubt I'll ever bother finishing it unless I get a Gameshark code to lower the encounter rate or something.

Herren Eerrrr, if you looked for a long time you could eventually find it for SNES, which is the better version anyway. Or get the ROM, you don't loose much anything, just most of the sound effects.

Please excuse me that it took so long until my first post in this topic ...
Hello, Alice!
Oh, and you don't have to feel sorry for interrupting ! :D

Yeah, Phantasy Star III was more of a side story than a real part of the series.
And people have yet to figure out how (if at all) Phantasy Star Online fits in...

Actually, I've found that the ROM's Sound Effects were BETTER than the PSX version. And yeah, the load times do stink on the PSX, both real and emulated PSX I'm talking about.
Kendrilian, perhaps you should try this if you're playing the ROM thru SNES 9x: In the Sound Menu, enable "Use Anti-Resonance's sample Decoding Method". That'll give you practically all the sound effects the way they were meant to sound. Perhaps the only things the PSX version improved on was the battle transition effects and the quality of the BGM's (I think they added a little more reverb than in the SNES version), and the cool FMV's. My only complaint with the transition effects is that they needed to be faster, then it would be perfect.

AWESOME! DANKA SHEN HERR GOKU. I could find a few sounds that were still off but it was only like 1/3. YAH. No more crap sounds for me... hee hee heee

DANKA SHEN HERR GOKU.
Should this be German? If yes, it should sound like this:
Danke schön, Herr Goku
*JustAJoke* :D
- Alhexx

What does that mean, anyway?

Thanks Herr Alhexx. I've never actually studied German, I just heard that phrase, learned what it ment and I use it. I've looked up a couple of others. It does mean, however, Thank You, Sir (or Mister, or Lord) Goku (whatever that means)...
Kendrilian
-
Oh. Well, in that case, you're welcome.
.......Lord?! Nah, I don't deserve that title.................... :P
-
You are welcome = "Du bist wilkommen"..... isn't it? :)
My German vocabulary is extremely limited, I learn all these from my friends who are studying German... heh heh :)
-
Heh, all the German I've learned, was from the backpage of the strategy guide for the old game Wolfenstien 3D! They had translations in the back, lol.

I'd like to point out that every time I set up Snes9x for you I apply this setting. Heh heh.

Jari: Yes, it means "Thank you very much". And yes, if you would translate it by word you would get "beautiful thanks" ... :D
Kendrillian: No problem - I'm tryin' to help where I can ;)
FFTactic_Boy: Yes, that's almost right. But "wilkommen" is written with double-l : "willkommen"
