Title: Palmer reimporting issue

Hey, I didn't want to necro an old thread, so I'm posting this here, hope that's ok.

I need to replace one of the field backgrounds, but Palmer only seems to let you do that if you're using Aali's custom graphics driver, by making use of it's mod path folder... Is there not a way to actually overwrite the background file and re-encode it into the flevel.lgp, so it works with the vanilla drivers?

You are not the first who ask this and wont be the last. To make it short, many have tried this and everyone has come to the same result: no not possible.  :'(
