I'm making a translation from Final Fantasy X International+Last Mission, so for curiosity I was exploring all characters/monster/weapon models and I found this models, my question are "Why Square-Enix do this, maybe a hot coffee, like GTA San Andreas? :-P "
Are possible Swap this models and make a nude patch?

Nope. We won't be linking to models ripped from official games; it's just as copyrighted as the game itself. ~Covarr

It's a skin base. They used them to make the other textures. Most games have some kind of "no clothes" skin during development.

I am told they are used during spherechange animations.

I have actually seen a bug that made the game to show these models and textures during the special dressphere animations, instead of those shiny rubber-like bodies that are normally shown. Gotta say it spooked me a bit...

A bit strange for "dummy" models to have tan-lines.
