Well, I heard from someone (name to remain unannymous) that FFXI will be also offline, meaning that you can play online and offline.  Supossedly FFXI will be delayed until Feb of 2003 because of this, and that the PC and PS2 versions will come out in the same time.  I trust the information that this friend gives me, but this really sounds like a big rumor.  Anyone knows something about this?

im thinking big rumor. i think ffxi has already been released in japan.

I can thing of about 4 million Japanese people who could confirm that FFXI has been released in Japan, Darkness...

Course, it's easier to simply go to a gaming website to find out. You don't have to pay for tickets to Japan...
