No, not really. What I really hope is that they make it like SH 2, which was great to create the horror in the mind rather than shocking the player with an obscure monster design.
Oh this trip with the boat over the lake was gorgeous. Every other had destroyed the scene with an monster attack, but they didn't. They leave you paddling over it with the feeling of being f*cking helpless if something bad would happened right now.

But it will surly have some funny sidekicks.  ;)

As much as I like Metal Gear, I'm not confident that Kojima can write what a Silent Hill game needs, but I'm absolutely confident he can figure out what makes the survival horror genre click in terms of gameplay. Therefore, I really hope he's only working on the gameplay, and letting del Toro handle the story.
