Title: Final Fantasy VIII High Quality FMVS Question

Is it relatively simple to replace the fmvs steam gave us with these ones found on youtube? Can I just rip these from youtube and then rename them and copy and replace them into the data/movies folder? These are the highest quality ones I have ever seen.

If they are named the same, then yes, you can rename them without any problem.

I'm not 100% sure (don't have the Steam version to check), but there's a small possibility that the movies get overwritten on launch by Steam. Keep a backup.

Original Resolution - 640x448 -> 1280 x 896 2X
