Title: Japanese Supernova
Post by: genesis063 on 2015-03-26 05:05:12
Anyone know if this is in the US pc version still?  I've looked and can't find what I am looking for.  If you are wondering why I want that it is because as Jeet confirmed it can be used on all disc so your character can use it.

If you're talking about the shortened animation I think the answer is no. That uses images that aren't in the us's data files.

Does the animation still exist though? Since packing the textures into the LGP wouldn't be any kind of problem. The only real nightmare would be to program the animation back in.

I found a post from Gemini about the PSX version but no one seemed to follow up research on the pc version as he stated that all versions still have the Japanese one in it.

I suppose it's possible that the animation exists despite the lack of resources. I haven't looked through which animation scripts are actually used.

Where would be a good place to start looking?
