Title: language issue

no matter what options I pick or don't pick the bootleg mod040 will only load FF7 in what seems to be Chinese or Japanese text. The version of the game I have is english. If I run the game with out bootloader it plays in English text.
Any help on this would be good :)

It should be Japanese, and I have no idea how this is possible. Bootleg simply doesn't offer a Japanese (or any Asian) translation. Sorry that I can't offer any help with this strange issue.
