Title: Dirge of Cerberus Files?
Post by: Alpha17x on 2015-08-13 01:55:16
I followed a lovely guide for using NOESIS to get data out of Crisis Core for the PSP. And it seems the program can pull data from plenty of other games. On the official website he's somehow ripped some stuff out of FF12 as well.  Does anyone know which file for Dirge of Cerberus has the model data; and perhaps what is the best option for extracting it's contents into a folder? So far my searches have come up short. Similar searches related to FF12 have yielded no results.

The DoS Models are white I'm interested in, and I know I can use a program to harvest them from live play; but I'd love to get the actual models files straight from the source.  Searching this forum also primarily listed questions similar to mine so I'm not 'holding my breath' as it were. but most of those search results are from 2009 as well.

Not possible yet.  A few people looked into it over at xentax, but they slowly lost interest.  The only way currently is to spend A LOT of hours manually doing it.   Listen to me when I say, you don't want to waste your time.

Not quite on topic, but apparently CC used a dumbed down version of the FFXII engine and Dissidia used a modified CC engine. That's probably why you can extract from multiple games with the one tool.
