Hey I have the mods installed and everything works fine except for 1 thing and it only effects Tifa and Aerith. Their hair texture but only on the bottom/long part after the first scene in 7th Heaven reverted back to the standard low res texture though the size is fine and does not revert. No matter what I can't get it to revert back to the high res texture and really want to fix this because it really looks silly and ruins that aspect. I have no idea how to mod it myself otherwise I would try to re-add the textures back in to fix this. Can someone please help me or at least tell/teach me how to edit and fix it myself? I will post screenshots shortly.
EDIT: I forgot to mention this is only in field view and not during battle, while in battle the hair textures are fine.

Long hair is very difficult to assemble in FF7, as moving parts are all individual pieces stitched together by the skeleton. Sometimes textures overlap when making transitional area to fill holes (this is what happened with Tifa's hair here). Aeris' pony tail seems to end with the old pieces from the converted battle model. On a side note though neither of these models appear to be Qhimm friendly (being made from ripped materials) so not much help or support can be offered here for them.

I'm confused, all the rest of the textures and model work... and it's obviously editable being that it was done, multiple times in different ways. So how is this not fixable all of a sudden? How is it edited/moded in the first place? If I knew I might try and change or fix it myself. Thanks for the reply btw ;D. Does anyone know where I can find good tutorials on how to edit and update the textures in this game? What program tools I'll need, etc...

How would you like this Aerith ?
Just a little work with Kimera 0.97 needed to change her hair.

Yeah that's sweet, definitely. What about Tifa though, any ideas?
-
Hers's Tifa edited with Kimera 0.97.

Firstly extract char.lgp with lgp tools and launch Kimera 0.97 to open
aaga.hrc , aggb.hrc axja.hrc bidb.hrc buac.hrc for Tifa;
auff.hrc azbb.hrc cahc.hrc cpjf.hrc cqga.hrc for Aerith
After you save the change, then pack them with lgp tools back to char.lgp
-
AWESOME, those are field models? How can I get them dude?
-
Yes these are for field models.
As for WORLD MODELS , open world_us.lgp with lgp tools and edit them with Kimera.
Packing measure is the same as the case of char.lgp.
world_us.lgp has Cid, Cloud, Tifa models.
Tifa is dlb.hrc in worls_us.lgp.

Sorry lol, I'm alittle confused. I have Kimura but I don't have the lgp tools, when I try to download it, it just times out. Also were can I get those 2 models you're showing to import them? Do you have them set up already or anything or a way you can send me or anything else. I can give you a more direct contact method so we could talk if it would help.

Aali developed the lgp tool;

I sent you a PM, all of his downloads are linked to ninja loot and for some reason I can't connect to any of them.. no idea why, none of his downloads.
This webpage is not available
ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT
Is what I get when I try to connect and download from ninjaloot.

Effective link added in my previous post.
Please use it.
-
Sending you PMs, lgptools160?
-
lgptoos 160 is recommended.
-
I get a LGPProp.dll was not found in LGP Tools Folder, could not write to System/ShellExt folder message. Does that matter? The program starts after I click ok on that
-
In the file FF7Tools.zip, there is lgptools160.rar containing a folder "lgptools160".
That is able to be unrared with WinRAR or so.
-
Yep. I have everything extract and running...

I edited a model to fix Tifa's hair, but I can't get the texture to apply when I put the model in place in Kimera. It was fine in Blender and I UVed it properly, I'm confused. I linked some pictures.
