So I already reinstalled the game to fix something causing the game to crash on startup, now this happens. Is this an issue with the registry keys?

It's either a bug with the registry keys or the kernels from Menu Overhaul. The MO kernels are my mistake, and they are taken out already in the next Catalog update.

Turns out it was the Red 13 werewolf mod was causing it.

That is the thing with scene to kernel you need to make sure the scene is synced to the right one.  So for compatibility modders need to synce to other possible kernel bins and set up and option to allow for that certain one.  Of course the user can do this manually.  This is one of the things I plan to cover in my modding guide tutorial series on youtube.
