Title: My textures are funny i think.

And i don't know if it's normal or not because it's the first time i play a modded version of FF VII on PC.

is it looking like a painting to anyone else? Please see below.

Yes this is "normal".

You have chosen that particular type field texture - Ozmys Field pack: http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=12260.0 - unfortunately imageshack sucks, so you'll have to click on the now-disabled images and hit download to compare.

I promise you'll get used to it; I remember feeling very odd using the pack once upon a time.

To expand on this, you have two options if you hit Configure for "Field Textures - Part 1": Omzy and yarLson.

As described in 7H: "Omzy = fractalized detail, yarLson = preserved detail"

Decide which you prefer, if any.

I prefer satsuki for all my texture options now :)
