If I want to try playing with a different computer, is it possible to copy my save files to another computer if I have been using 7th Heaven on the Steam version?
-
I believe so, as far as I know the main difference is the metadata.xml for cloud saving
-
without the metadata.xml the steam version will remove your saves.. be sure to copy that also or if you already have saves you can use the metadata creator in black chocobo to generate a new metadata.xml file.

sithlord48,
I am trying to do this but my 7th heaven save files don't have a metadata xml. There is one in teh SquareEnix folder. Every time I try to paste the 7H files, when I open the game in steam it overwrites it. Where do i find the metadata.xml in 7th Heaven?

I'm not sure where 7th Heaven pushes its saves. The only metadata.xml i know of is in your steam folder.

7H doesn't have anything to do with saves, the game engine does. Since 7H runs the 1.02 CD version, look in places like C:\Games\Final Fantasy VII\save
