Title: FFVII Black Screen

Hello, it's been a while and I wanted to play a this game again, but now I can't seem to get it to work. I patched 1.02 and used latest 0.8 aali's driver, but when I start the game I get a black screen, press enter it gets me to New Game-Continue screen, press New Game and eternal black screen. I don't see any app.log, to post, like it was never created, where should that be showing? I don't know what to do. I use win7 64bit, nvidia.

update* I installed with "Aali's Custom Driver Installation" and all seemed to be working, but only for the first run. When I enter the game for a second time, the resolution is off again and the game crashes when I hit menu. Is like the driver is being kicked out of the registry. Good thing is I got to the first save to try way faster fixing the issues.

Now when it crushes it does throw a app.log in desktop, but is empty.
Can someone tell me what exactly this driver does? The answer of my problem is within.
