Title: Can I convert my FFVIII PSV file to the FFVIII on steam?

I really don't feel like re-doing 34hrs of playing triple triad, guys. I need help.

P.S. I can't use the hyne save editor it keeps saying I'm missing some file and I need to re-install it.

What files are missing?
I can convert the save for you, but it's better to troubleshoot the 'missing files' of Hyne.

hyne can open psv and save for steam FF8 . Save the file as an FF8 Pc file then use the "sign saves for cloud "menu from file to sign your metadata.. you must show it your metadata.xml file
its in your save folder for steam ff8 , as well as your user id that you can get from your save game path,there is a folder user_###### your user id is those numbers your saves will be in somewhere like
<Your Documents>/games/square soft,inc/ff8/user_######/

**backup your save for steam because if you put in the wrong info to sign it will delete the saves when you start the game**

It read some windows file but I have it. I'm getting impatient and aggravated at this point, gentlemen. I am at wits' end.

I figured it out. The one I had was outdated so... how do I convert it again? The PSV to Steam saves.
