Title: Crashing at Submarine Battle!

I'm getting a crash right when I try to start the submarine battle for the huge materia.  If anyone could give information to clear this up, please do.  I tried searching this board for similar topic, but only found something submited by a guest, which had no replies.

I am running Windows XP with a GeForce 3 64meg video card.  I tried using the windows compatibility toolkit with no success.

Dont run FFVII Pc on XP.

This isn't really a common crash. But I remember a few people having it. And that was with Win98. The got through it by playing through in software mode, and if that didn't work, they used the small window version.

Small window mode worked, never thought to try that =).

Just don't ask me why that works..... I have no idea.
