Title: PLEASE SOME HELP ME. PLEASE. WINDOWS 2000

Um....I bought ff7 and I have Windows 2000. it wont run now. Like when it wou;ld start up, there would be no final fantasy beginning movie. Then the screen is all black. Then you get into a fight and then it goes back to the windows saying error. is there a patch to fix that problem?????

Erm, first, try running the game in Software Rendering mode and see if that helps.

You can also try downloading the 1.02 patch (http://ftp.eidos.com/pub/patches/final_fantasy7/riva_TNT.exe) and see if that helps at all.

I had the same problem. I found that if I did a maximum install on my NTFS drive, it wouldn't work. Try using the standard install and see if that helps.
