Title: Issue after first cutscene

The game launches just fine but as soon as the first cutscene ends after the train I can’t move and it looks like the game is frozen. And there is a black bar on the bottom of the screen

Looks like you have four different field texture mods (Omzy, satsuki, yarLson, Remako) active, one of which (Remako) is in totally the wrong place.  Pick just one and see if things start behaving better.

You can't get achievements once your game is converted.

Yes.  Remako (as a field textures mod) should be placed in the same location where Omzy/Sat/yar live.

Certain mods can be dropped in the game folder and don't require Aali Driver or other game folder changes. In those cases, you'll keep your achievements. The 7H tutorial will disable them.

Old school modding by actually modding the game files. 7th Heaven doesn't modify any game files but also doesn't run through Steam.
