'Fixed'? Live works ok with FF7. Generally.

Threesixty has an improved FF7 soundfont you can get from his site.

If you need to enable the AWE-type compatible synth on a Live!, just upload SYNTHGM.SF2 into the synth bank on your live. It should be around somewhere on your hard drive ... if not I'll upload it to my website (it's less than 50KB).

Sure.

..except the server seems to be down now. Give it a while and I'm sure it'll be back up

This is a more direct link....I've been meaning to delete the prodigy page....

I think all the directions you need are on the page.

Ficedula: The server isn't down...it just doesn't support the sf2 file type (it actually tries to execute it as an executable and feeding the browser the output...which naturally doesn't lead to anything). This is a known problem, I'm sure Cain will fix it *sometime* but it might take a while. Until then I suggest you zip the sf2 (zip is among the file types the server can recognize).

The FFSF members might take this post as a sign that I'm back home. Well I am but I'm leaving again tonight for another week...

Didn't think so at least...only getting around a little in the summer, the rest of the year I'm quite settled I think...
