Title: FF7 Enter key mapped to 360 controller button not working

I am using 7th Heaven together with Steam's controller configuration. I have mapped the green A-button on my XBOX 360 controller to the Enter key on the keyboard. However, it does not work properly in battles. When pressing A after selecting Attack the dialog box just flashes briefly. If I press Enter on the keyboard it works as expected. I do not have this problem when using the official launcher that comes with the Steam version of the game, only when launching through 7th Heaven.

Any ideas?
