Some of it is extremely well done, but I've found some of it messes with my nostalgia a little too much.  Only time will tell if I can get used to it

I like it. a lil hollywoodesque at times but overall enjoyable.

Yeah the Ska/hip hop/glitch number that plays after you leave Aerith's the first time is a bit of a missed swing on the OST.

It doesn't feel like it fits in with the rest of the universe.
I didn't think I'd like the new Hollow song, but it's actually grown on me and seems to fit with the rest

The problem with the remake ost is that all of the songs are really good songs in their own right. but there is no flow or cohesion betweeen the songs, its just a random assortment of different musical styles all played in a row. The juke box is fire though, especially since the past 9 months or so ive been really into neo jazz and electroswing

Haven't finished it yet, but so far the only music I wasn't feeling was Wall Market. Wall Market Remake feels more like a place of lust, pleasure and wild desires, so maybe the music was trying to fit that tone.
