Title: How to back up save files?

Long story short, I want to uninstall and reinstall mods. I've added/removed so many things, I don't even know what version of the game I am playing anymore. Just to be safe, I want to reinstall, but I don't want to lose my saves so I don't have to start the game over. How do I do that?

Just copy all of your .ff7 files from the ff7\save\ folder to somewhere safe then restore them later. That's generally where the saves are, but if you're running native Steam version (not converted) then your saves are under your Documents\Square Enix\FINAL FANTASY VII Steam\user_xxx folder.

Find your saves and copy them some where else. Where are your saves? depends on the version of the game your playing and how
