I know someone asked about an FF7 font but I thought it would make more sense to make a new post since people would be more likely to look at this. Anyway, is there a font file for the font used in FF9? The one in menus and regular text, that is. I have no clue how to extract stuff. Thanks.

why would you want such an ugly pixelfont? ;p anyway... you can probably get most it from http://www.ffonline.com/ff9/images.htm

I think it looks pretty good. :D i'm looking for a .ttf file or whatever font files are called. i don't know what good images would do me in that respect.

Try using psmplay, find the right picture file (that has the font), and save it as a gif or use the print screen/sys rq trick.

First of all, console games rarely use TTF files. In fact, most games use hand-made bitmap fonts (i.e. they're not even based on TTF files). So there's no "official" FF9 font. However, just as Runic Sans MT comes quite close to the FF logo font, there might be a TTF font out there that's similar to FF9's. I don't know of such a font, though.
