I can't handle all these new things! argh... Blasphemy!
Anyhow, I was wondering what this Final Fantasy online thingie is, I have heard it's name being mentioned in several forums but I can't say that I really know what it is.

FF XI is released on PC and PS2 and is playeble online.

Nah, it's not that cool.  The fighting action sucks, but then again, that was a year ago.  Who knows if they improved the game or not.

Has been out a good while in Japan
It's shown some interest but not as much as square had hoped.

I'm not interested in it myself.
