Title: [PSX] Final Fantasy VII Survivor (New Patch v7.4)

Final Fantasy VII is viewed as one of the best games
RPGs, as well as games in general, are very popular.
Some of them played this game in the 90s at that time
They may wish there was a scenario to save some characters or deviate the events of the story
One way or another, but there are fans of the game who were insisting on continuing the events As it is,
I offer this patch to those who wished that one of the main and pivotal characters in the story had survived
She is Aeris/Aerith.

-Save Aerith
  It has put a lot of effort into showing its event in a way that engages the player
The event is received as if it had originally happened. Aerith will participate in a small phase in the second disc in the Snow Village once Cloud receives a punch from Elena,
Put Aerith in your party then start the ski event, then she will leave the party, and the events of the game proceed unchanged, but without her participation in the basic story, while modifying the dialogues that she remembers before going to the northern cave.
Aerith will join the team in the third disc, but will not participate in the northern cave.
Patch also included
- Playing with Sephiroth?!
 On the third disc, when entering the city of Nibelheim, head to the hotel on the second floor
You will find Sephiroth, but as one of his wandering clones, you can benefit
Of his supernatural powers, but on the condition that Vincent never joins your group.
You won't be able to play with him in the northern cave.
- The meeting with Cloud's mother on the third disc.
- Visit the unbroken city of Mideel in the third disc by speaking
With one of the guys downtown.
- Honey Bee Inn has reopened with some additions at the entrance
- Add challenges In Wall Market with Aniki on all discs
- Possibility of visiting Sector 7 slums again
- In Gold Saucer, keep the possibility of riding the moving cart with anyone
Team members in disc three.
- In Gold Saucer, it is possible to participate in the theatrical show by speaking
With the man at the entrance. On the third disc.
- Plying football again in Costa del Sol
- More talking with Marlene in Sector 7 slums on the third disc.
- Watch the chocobo dance at any time on disc three.
- Improved event of Aerith in Forgotten City.
- New improved photos for Cid, Vincent and Teen Cloud.
– Improved photos for Tifa.
– Improved main Screen.

And other additions that support the game and do not affect the level of power in the game.

First of all, thank you, I´ll keep this version in my personal files. I hope you continue working on this.

I have some suggestions:

- Provide at least one Triple growth armor.
- I suggest to add Elmyra next to Aeris on Disc 2, in the same place.
- I suggest to increase the AP of Proud clod in the gym, I know that It is a lot, but level Up Knights of the Round is still a nightmare.
- About Claudia, I like the idea, but I suggest to receive something from her.
- Add the current version of the game in the screen (Continue?/New Game).

Thank you again, I´ll wait some time and others updates to play it again.

I am pleased to know your experience with this patched version of the game. :)
Regarding the suggestions, I will try to take them into consideration if I am able to add these changes without technical problems.
I am currently working on a new patch that includes the perks available in the survivor patch with new impactful additions, but the patch will have a different name. I will announce it as soon as I finish it.

New Patch v7.0 released today!

Features:
- Improved event of Aerith in Forgotten Capital.
- Improved the new text dialogues for the Aerith event.
- Improved scene movie for saving Aerith.
- Improved photos for Cloud.
-  A possibility for return to highwind after final battle.
And other additions that support the game and do not affect the level of power.

There was a small bug it became fixed in patch v7.2

This patch including:

In the flashback of young Cloud, the music of Nibelheim mountains that was muted now it become fixed.
Improved photos for Yuffie.

Today I finished the game, the version 7.2 and I have a report to make.

If you have Aeris when you go for Red XIII ultimate weapon she didn´t appear, in this part:

That's strange, because I were play it many times but I didn't see any such problem like it. Anyway, this issue that's happened on which disk?
If thiss issue was in Red 13 event when they visit this area first time, 
which characters you take with you? Because I didn't change anything here.

On disk 3. I was going for RedXIII's ultimate weapon. Cloud, Aeris and RedXIII were in my group.

It seems like this special event has never seen to me before, even though I've played this game since it was first released, and I have recently replayed it in the last few years. :)

The reason is simply that Aeris is on the team on the third disc, which she is not supposed to be there, so I will re-upload a new version that fixes this problem, Anyway Thank you for this important note. :)

Update: It's fixed I will upload the newest patch very soon

Hello Kaiseran, been really enjoying the mod so far. Up to disc 3 playing through the ps2, hoping to hear this will be the first place to get the latest updates on your mod. Finding any mention to this mods updates is kind of scattered around Youtube comments, ROMhacking, and other websites.

Would like to mention that the added challenges with Aniki in the Wall Market gym are broken upon either death or winning the fight. The game will hang before the game over screen appears or after XP is given on a win for all fights.

I also encountered a game freeze if you visit the leftmost building in the Forgotten City if you visit it on disc 1 before getting the cutscene where it becomes night time, before progressing the story. These both happened when I played through this on a modded ps1 and softmodded ps2 slim.

Regarding the Aneki challenges, I tested the two options and tried the victory case or defeat case and didn't encounter any problems.

As for the Aerith event on the first disc, I didn't make any changes to the area that you mentioned, and no problems occurred. Perhaps the problem is related to the PlayStation console the game is running on, as it may be incompatible with it.

In any case, unless I find any problems with this mod, as far as I'm concerned, this mod is completed, and I don't intend to add any updates to it.

I'm currently working on a new mod for the same game. It will have its own name, but it will be significantly different from  survivor mod. Once I'm finished, I'll release it.  ;)

Here are the most interesting features included in the Final Fantasy VII Survivor mod since its release date.

Features of the first patch :
