Hi!
Yes, it's me with ANOTHER post! :D
I remember coming across a program on the web called 'PSound'. What it did was it had the ability to extract all sounds from games on the PSX. I remember also that when I opened a file from the PSX FFVII, it had ALL of the instruments that are used in the game, and another file had the words from 'A One-Winged Angel'. Isn't there any way that someone could rip these sounds (because the program had an option to save sound as .wav files) and make a soundfont out of them?

I don't see how that would help make a Soundfont.
There is a program...around that will allow Mp3 to play in FF7. But it's not complete. I haven't tried it, but just about everyone else, here has.

You use too many commas in your posts, threesixty.
Why haven't you tried ff7music yet?

I don't really know how a Soundfont works. I thought you may be able to do it like that. Oops! :D
I have heard of that FFVII .mp3 audio program. I have the full OST for FFVII (and FFVIII and IX...). :D
Will it be better to rip the OST as .mp3, or use the FFVII program to use the .psf files?

They got me answering phones.....Im not used to it.....So....My thinking. Is scrambled up, More than usual. Not to mention the interupitons while posting. And why am I posting, now? at work? Because....when the phones aren't ringing...there is nothing else to do.
I'm just lazy....too lazy to mess with FF7 and the music thing. Besides, I heard it doesn't loop and makes FF7 more crash happy. And I'm quite content with the Soundfont that I made a few years back, so I just use it. Besides...I haven't played FF7 in about 8 months. And I probably won't get to it in a while...I just picked up
Sukioden
Lunar Story (collection edition)
Dragon Warrior VII
Grandia
I couldn't pass them up....they are so hard to find, when you are looking for them. Ebgames.com had all of them in stock and all preowned games were 30% off.
What sucks is that Sukioden is just the disk (I was really hoping for it to be complete)...and all the others had no manuals. I had to return one of them...Legend of Legaia. It was too scratched up...I'll do that tomorrow.

I would suggest using PSF files. You will be able to get a full collection and easy setup instructions at the FFSF Website (http://ffsf.cjb.net/).
