Title: FF7 Performance degraded...

Hi!

I haven't had a problem with FF7 since installing all the neccesary patches, but now I have another problem. It seems like that I am running FF7 on a 12Mhz PC instead of 1.2GHz! The start 'Eidos Interactive' FMV is sluggish, and the menu sounds go slow and crackly towards the end. I don't know what is wrong with it. I have re-installed it and everything! Has anyone else got this problem? I can't play the game with this problem being active!  :(

Verify that you are able to select "Direct3D Hardware Accelleration" in the FF7Config program?

Can you give us more info on your system?  (OS, vid card, sound card, etc)

Did you just install DX9?
