Title: Final Fantasy VIII Installation error...

Hi!

I am now getting an error whilst trying to install FFVIII PC on my freinds PC. He has a 1.5GHz P4, and a GeForce2 with 256Mb of RAM. He also has XP Home Edition. The error comes up as error -106 whilst installing magic.fs or something like that. Can someone help me out?

Try copying the file over from the CD and see if there is a read error.  The file may be bad.  (Scratch or something)

Some people have luck using the small install, when it comes to a corrupt sector on an install disk.
