Title: Final Fantasy Chronicles

I went to the squaresoft website and saw that there is this game called Final Fantasy Chronicles, it is Final Fantasy IV and Chrono Trigger "remastered", it has FMVs, new features, and other new stuff.  The thing I don't know about the games is that if its 3D like FF7 and FF8.  If anyone has more info on this please post it.  Also, wouldn't it be a bad idea for squaresoft to redo FF6.  I didn't like the fact that they just put one FMV in the beginning of FF6 in Final Fantasy Anthology.  In my opinion, FF6 is one of the best FF games (probably the best).  I guess it wouldn't hurt squresoft to make a master piece into an even better master piece. # :D

I maybe wrong, but believe that's just the Japanese psx remakes of FF4 and CT translated to English and released in the US.  I think it's been out some time.

Yeah thats been out for a while. In one of the games the new FMVs are anime I think.

From what I understand, Chronicles is basicly another release of Anthology using different games.

Looks more like Square emulated the SNES game into PSX. My local paper has a preview of it. In fact, the captures come from.....the SNES version!!!. According to that paper, it takes quite sometime to load between  screens and the music is bad.

If load times bug you emulate it on a fast computer.. As far as music sucking and graphics sucking.. well GEE! I wonder why!? hello They just transfered it over.. FFIV and ChronoTrigger werent Remade in 3d it was meant just to be a re relase of Chrono Trigger (Great game) and FF4 which i never played.. but i will probably still pick this one up for my FF collection..

i did pick it up for my collection ..  :) it seems to be cool.. i am playing through chrono trigger now.. after playing tactics it made me realize that i miss a good story line with cheesy graphics.. cuz graphics arent what make the game at all... they do help alot .. but its not all about the gaphics.. I am currently approx 6 hours into chrono trigger.. very smooth game..

Yeah I was playing Chrono Trigger, but got bored and just stopped, the same just happened with FF6. I know graphics aren't everything, but I just get so bored with those SNES graphics.  :(

Yeah i had the same problem.. but after playing tactics for some reason i hadnt.. i dunno why.. but if you are getting bored with the game then hack it a little bit to make it more interesting.. or kick some life into it
