Title: Radical Dreamers - the original Chrono Cross?

I found this out in one website that the original sequel to Chrono Trigger was Radical Dreamers, it is a very dull game, since it is only a text RPG.  It would however, be interesting to see how it is. The game is in Japanese, and there is no translation.  Chrono Cross is supposedly the improved version of RD.

man, i hate it when newbies repeat old news  :P
yea, i got close to the end of radical dreamers but then i got stuck, and since its in japanese i REALLY got stuck.
there was a guy who tried to translate it, but u have to understand that chrono cross took aspects  from radical dreamers (theifs, names, artifacts) and amde a game worthy of the sequel to CT

Thanks Ficedula,  I kept looking in this forum for some type of information on Radical Dreamers, but I couldn't find it.  And plus there might be other newbies who don't know about it, it doesn't hurt to bring old news back to those who don't know.  I was cut off the internet for a long time, and wasn't aware of these kinds of news. Later.   :D

Well I knew about Radical Dreamers for sometime....even looked for a translation patch for it. This is the one I found, about 2 years ago

If it wasn't that I read something about RD I wouldn't have known.  Even when I tried to look for information, most of the websites that had the rom or information were down.  Anyways, if there is a finished translation of the game, be sure to post it.  I don't even dare to play the game in japanese, it's boring as hell to not be able to understand anything. :P
