Title: IE crashes when i log onto boards

It happends on 70%. Can it be fixed somehow ? (i dont like IE, but i have to use it)
Its happends on IE5 as well as on old Win95 IE3 or 4.

Have you tried opening through a random folder? Here's a screenshot:
See that red oval? Inside it is the address bar. Now type in the site url...
See? Now press enter/go and volia! all done.

I doubt that was any useful for Mirex...... plus...
2.5MB for the screenshots.... (!) took me sometime to download even I was on Broadband! Probably you know that the files can be compressed to JPGs right?  :erm:

Hmm . . .

Is this all on the same PC (or network)?  What version of Windows are you running?

Sephiroth2000:

1. Mirex's NOT a n00b.
2. I don't see why that would effect anything, anyway.
3. That search bar looks like spyware.
4. Geez, man . . . try saving those images as PNG or JPG next time.

Actually, that search bar is spyware.

Anyway, yeah, please don't include huge images in your post (link to them).  And all that does is change your Explorer window to an Internet Explorer window, which would likely result in the same error.

Hi!

I was wondering how exactly IE crashes? You say it gets to 70% and then crashes, but what happens? Does IE shut down or do you get an error message? Also, how do you mean when it gets to 70% anyway? Where can you find the percentage of IE loading a webpage?  :-?

Sephiroth2000: doh ! didnt helped me at all. but now i know who fills my trashbin with trash :) above 100% ! Because i saw the files and anyhow they are not usefull, i replaced them with recompressed files (file1 (http://bin.mypage.sk/FILES/screen.jpg), file2 (http://bin.mypage.sk/FILES/screen2.jpg)). Compare BMP - 2.5MB, JPG - 109kb. Think about it. My trashbin aint unlimited, it can be filled only up to 105%

xeriouxi: im sorry, my bad. By 70% i meant that it happends nearly every time i try to log in, not at 70% of loading.

Sukaeto: those are 2 different computers, one is P670Mhz, with W2kProfessional and IE5, other one is P200Mhz, with W95 and some old IE.

Sorry, mirex. You can delete the pictures if you want, seeing as we have no more use for them...

Suaketo: I know mirex is not a n00b. Level 44, speaks no rubbish unlike me, and been here since the new millenium.

How can a trashbin at 100% not be considered "full"?

Goku7: Its a feature. Its allways good to have some free space even if its full (at 100%)

Heh...too bad we can't get this feature on hard drives.... :P

On the other hand, we could say that your trashbin is of non-Euclidean design....capable of being seen as 100% full, yet not _really_ full.... :roll:
