Hi
I've been trying to get FF7 to run in direct 3D with my Rage 128 Pro, so I downloaded the NVidia TNT patch. But when I try to use D3D, there are small greenish horizontal and vertical lines running across the screen. (Not in battle and menu screens, though.)
Is there any way to get FF7 to run in D3D mode with a Rage 128 Pro?
Thanks

I only have AIW128 16MB (rage 128). Because 4.13.7192 is not compatible with FF7pc. So I use 4.13.7078 instead.

4.13.7078 is for 95/98/ME, and I have XP. Will this driver work in XP? (On ATI's site, the XP drivers are 5.1.2001.0 and 6.13.3279 and both of them give me this problem.

4.13.7078 is not for XP.
In my case, 8-bit paletted textures support in 4.13.7192 didn't work at all. So I checked "NVIDIA" and "TNT", then used ff7.exe from the TNT patch. But 4.13.7192 has graphic problem.

hello
i HAD a rage 128,
u need to obtain older drivers, and remember to enable 8bit palleted textures in the control panel.
I used it under win98, was an extremley old version about 2000 or late 1999, right after they made a fix for ff7 and the palleted texture problem
