Title: Favorite Final Fantasy Soundtrack

mine is ff8's because nobuo uematsu made such a great soundtrack in such little time for this game. (i think it was 8 months) and because of the memories i have of the game, not to mention the great storyline (although some people don't think so). no offense to any ff7 fans but i personally think that the ff7 storyline was cut short due to:
1) the ginormous booklet that made only 3 discs fit thus only 3 discs to put the story on. although i think the big booklet was in gran turismo and three discs only fit in ff7 because that was all they wanted.
2) it seems like it is one story but switches to something else mid-story at an undistiguishable part.
3) the was kinda slow all the way through and didn't pick up until it was too late.

Yeah 7 and 8 were my favourite. Probably prefer 7 more though. Although 8 was my favourite game.

My 2 favourite tracks are:

1) Aeris's Theme (FF7)
2) The Oath (FF8)

The Piano Remixes i liked the best.. I listen to them when i sleep.. ^_^

Hi!

I love every single OST that Mr. Uematsu produces. each one is simply fantastic!  :D

If, however, I had to chose a favourite then I think it would be FFVII. The music has slightly more atmosphere in it than the others... but the others are still fantastic! Woohoo!  :lol:

Me too!  So relaxing.

FFVII's probably my favourite OST, but FFX's also very good, then FFVIII, then IX.  VI is pretty good too, but I'm always put off by the sound quality.  Give me Grande Finale anyday though.  :)

Final Fantasy VI then Final Fantasy IX and finally Final Fantasy VIII.  Final Fantasy VII was good, but not good enough.  I really only like two of the songs: Rufus and the Boss Theme.
