Title: Are there any MP3 packs out there to replace the midis??

I have the FF7music patch installed and all.. and really want to get rid of the midis and replace them with high quality MP3s .. just wondering how can i do this??? can someone give me detailed steps..?  also are there any mp3 packs out there where i can just download, add and play?? thx

You could use MP3s from the OST, I guess, but you'd need to buy it and rip it yourself.  We can't hand out copyrighted MP3s for free.

how would i actually make the game play the mp3s though?? plz help.. im so confused.. lol

Instructions come with ff7music, try reading those ;)

Basically, you're going to make a music folder, dump the mp3s in there, and use ff7music to tell the game which MP3 to play in place of which midi.

(for instance, Battle.mp3 will replace battle.mid)

Some of the midi's are named REALLY wierd, and theres one, "comical", which isn't even used in the game /=.  So you'll ahfta listen and find out what's what.

I havn't used this program myself yet (I lost the first disk of the ff7 ost, grrr), so I can't give you specifics.  Just tinker and discover ^_^
