hello all!

is there a german 1.02 patch or can i apply the english 1.02?

also, do i have to apply this following patch?

FFVIIXP.zip

if yes, whats the order i should apply the patches (1.02, chocobofix, FFVIIXP) in?

thanks in advance.. (more questions to come :P)

(btw ive read the faq section and also the great ff7 topic)

The English version of the 1.02 patch won't work.  There should be a German version, but I can't find it.  Then again, it would help if I could speak German.

You apply the 1.02 patch, and then the chocobo fix.  You don't need (or want) that other patch.

If you have an nVidia graphics card, you can probably get away without the 1.02 patch (see using FSAA in the FAQ topic).  AFAIK, the chocobo fix will also work on a 1.00 game.  However, with an ATI card you will be needing the 1.02 patch.

the fsaa thingy looked really complicated but it seems to be my last resort if i cant find that patch

well i've got the german version
as long as you only replace the config exe there's no problem.
so you can use the english config

i'm running ff7 with 2x2 fsaa + cloud-highres patch + hand patch + ff7music (mp3)

and don't have any problems at all ^_^

last thing missing would be background filtering to make ff7pc almost (i dont expect new character models XD, must be too hard to crack) perfect.
Well only the translation sucks >_<.
