Title: It just keeps getting better and better...
Post by: xeriouxi on 2004-05-13 08:54:38
Hi!

For those who haven't noticed, the new FF7:AC trailer has been released... and it's looking better and better every time they release a new trailer! Unfortunately I haven't seen it yet, only screens, because I'm at school and could only view it via .mpg only. Is it me, or does this movie seem to becoming closer to one of the best films ever!  :D

Seems that there's a new trailer from E3 on the official FF7:AC site (http://www.square-enix.co.jp/dvd/ff7ac/).

THey still tell nothing about what the movie is about, I'm not going to expect a masterpiece like the game was.

Hi!

Apart from the official website, I think that http://www.adventchildren.net is one of the best sites for information, along with SquareInfo!  :D

Has anyone been able to rip the movie file out of the swf?  I'd like to beable to have that one isntead of wasting Square's bandwidth just to watch it o_o

The SWFs were in my cache, but my version of Flash refused to read them: they were "protected" =/

The Spirits Within was on TV the other day, made me realise how bad this film could turn out.  Also made me wonder; why does the the Square Pictures logo have a rectangle for it's background?

I agree with you there, It sucked bad in the cinema, and even worse on TV...Although i think it might have just been the screen ratio that made it a rectangle, I dont know.

Square should have remained a game company, Motion pictures are very different, even if you are doing acting and drama. It's a big leap to movies and Spirits Within Royally sucked (well it was OK but compared to what they could have done it sucked).

Indeed it was.  And the massive losses they made IMO sealed the fate of the FF7 Remake that was being contemplated and killed it.
