Hello.....my problem ist this.
I bought the game on Steam, installed 7th Heaven, did everything that needed to be done (hopefully).....but when I try to start the game it says "Could not find file 'D:\Spiele\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VII\ff7_en.exe'.
"
The Problem is.....there is no ff7_en.exe file on my system.
My file is named ff7_de.exe, every time when I re-install it through Steam (might be because I live in germany) it is there.
I already changed the pathing for 7th Heaven to use the file that is in my Steam folder.....it just keeps saying that it could not find ff7_en.exe
I am honestly a bit heart-broken about this, after watching a Let's Player play this game multiple times I wanted to play it myself and now nothing I do seems to be working.
Any help, no matter how small is greatly appreciated.
I just want to play a game that many love but I never got to play and now it seems something is actively going against me.
PS. After setting the game to english in the Steam settings it found the file but now the game crashes before it even begins.
Not sure where to go with this, any pointer in the right direction is very much appreciated.

No, 7h has always required the english version. The game converter used to convert the game to english for you. Now you have to do it yourself by choosing the language in steam is the only difference for the end user.
