It's normally not possible to play it without the disc, since the movies are stored on the discs. The only possibility is a no-cd-crack, but we're not supporting this on our forums.

While I can't support using either of the following to copy or otherwise illegally play the game...

 - I personally don't like keeping up with lots of CDs, so I have pretty much all of my CDs imaged on my computer, using Alcohol 120% to run them in a "virtual drive."  I'm doing that with FF7 as well.  (I'm up to 610 GB hard drive space as well, whoo :P)

 - If you search around these forums, you'll probably be able to find instructions on how to copy the movies to your hard drive and modify the registry so that it works.

Yah I know what you mean. I would never download FF7 beacuse it deserves to be supported. I own the game. I wanted to start a petition telling square to make up a pre-oder sheet and that if enough people sign up, they would make a new ff7 that would be more compatible and better graphics than before.  :D

You could have gone to Eidos' support page.....it's in there, too.
