Title: How can I make 7th Heaven inject XML text exported from Makou Reactor?
Post by: Rodeo on 2025-12-29 20:15:02
One can mod the text in fields by exporting a binary chunk from Makou Reactor and placing the chunk in a folder called flevel.lgp and 7th Heaven will detect this chunk at launch and inject it.

I noticed while using Makou Reactor that there is an option in the Mass Export screen to export text as an XML file or even as plain text. Placing this XML file in the flevel.lgp folder is not enough to get 7th Heaven to inject it into the game, nor could I figure out any way to do so. Is there a way to get 7th Heaven to detect this file and use it?

It would be nice to use XML files instead of binary chunks as the XML files are human-readable and can be quickly and easily edited with a standard text editor. MR is a great tool, but for a quick small change, launching it, opening flevel.lgp, finding the field file, and finding the text you're looking for, then exporting the chunk is a lot of work.

Many thanks to Myst6re and contributors for their work on MR.
