Title: Is there a way to make it running GOG version?

I bought GOG version when it was on sale, and I want to try it out with th Heaven, to test if it is working at least some mods(mostly graphics).  However, I don't know how to make it working.  I copied ff_en to ff7\workingdir as ff7_en.exe, then set game path, but it doesn't work.

Hmm... without uninstalling Steam version?  I want to keep both just to try.
