Too bad they cost an arm and a small infant. How come Cloud's sword seems smaller than the version in the game?

Because a full-sized Buster sword would require quite a sofisticated lifting mechanism? ;)

6 AA Batteries!?

Very nice though, if you have money to burn like crazy. Too bad they're not for dueling. Why have all those cool features if all it does is sit on a mantle or in a case?
