Check this out: check the screens (http://www.gamingforums.com/showthread.php?t=150241&page=1&pp=25) and this one (http://mods.moddb.com/524/) too! :P

lol, I notice Almighty_Gir in that FF7 thread ;) I also wonder if some of the people moaning about the Tifa model's breasts have actually played FF7 - her breats are huge in the game, which you can blatantly see in the ending movie when Cloud is hanging off the cliff with her. I'd say the modeller who created that model got it about right, without going over the top in a dodgy hentai style :)

This amuses me......

This is another copyright "protection" myth that just keeps on going. (Kinda like the 24 hour one) This copyright law does not exist.

I think I better warn them...

heh. Like the Chrono Resurrection and even Bid For Power stuff. But hey, it IS pretty sweet to see people trying to make FF7 Fans (like me) happy again. :)
Halkun, if you're going to warn them, can you give em some hints like: " hide till you got a playable MOD." or "Don't create a site and only distribute this via Bittorrent."
Oh well. We'll just have to wait till Square decides to create some new "tuned up" FF7 game. Dirge of Cerberus looks quite promising...

They are so going to get taken down by Square (the first one anyway). The Tifa model is nice, but it needs some work on the face.
-
Yeah, she looks slightly cross-eyed. I shouldn't complain, though because it's far better than I can currently model. =( That's excellent work.

Another problem is that groups like this always seem to close-source all of their work with the promise that they'll release everything once it's finished. ...then Square comes with a lawsuit and they all just quietly go away. Sure there are a billion disadvantages to releasing works-in-progress, but it's still better than the alternative. At least that way other groups would be able to pick up where the last group got taken down.
-
The problem is: if it becomes too popular, companies like Square will eventually hear about them and issue a cease to exist.
I'd really like to see this MOD working tho. The models are simply stunning.
