Title: ff8 - ah!!! black boxes surrounding objects

well ya i just started off ff8 on pc and wow the graphics were really screwed up.

when i got to the classroom place there were like black boxes surrounding all the computers and lines everywhere. please help me!!! im using a geforce 6800 gt

i had the same problem, i have a 6600GT pci-e.

I just set it to software render mode and didn't have any issues after that. give that a try and report back :D

try to disable/enable anti-aliasing.

oooh ok software renderer appears to work!! thx alot!! how do u enable/disable anti-aliasing?

..you must open your graphics card options,find anti-aliasing,if it is on then disable it,if it is off enable it..no idea where,never seen a geforce 6600 options before..

its the same place as all of nvidia cards

right click your desktop, go to settings>advanced then theres a tab up the top with your GFX's card name on it, click it then go to the performance and quality settings
