Title: My notebook doesn't have a number pad ;_;
Post by: MeoTwist on 2005-03-12 23:17:06
Hey. Just installed Final Fantasy 7 on my notebook... But It doesn't have a number pad, and you can't edit the controls outside of the game... or so says the ReadMe. Is there a way to fix this?  :weep:

perhaps you could ask someone send you their config (key savings)
and you could simply place it in FF7 directory ..
i don't know how a Notebook work, but if you can install FF7 on it im pretty sure you can replace or put a file in there.

If you can't edit the controls outside the game usually most notebooks have a function key with the keys defined somewhere look closely and you can probably use those to navigate through until you can get to a menu.. OR there are number pads (P/S 2) style that you can buy.. I think using the function key would be your best bet though..

You could just buy a USB keyboard. Or that one numpad only keyboard.
