Not sure if this goes here, but whatever. anyway, i have a problem with ff8. i leave galbadia garden to get on the train to deling city. when i get on the train, the party walks on board, squall goes to the terminal, and access is granted. after this, im pretty sure im supposed to take control, but nothing happens. the only thing i am able to do at this point is open the menu and pause the game, nothing else works. any idea what i can do?

I don't think we've seen that problem before.
If you post your save game online, someone may be able to play it to the next save point and send it back to you.

I think the problem had something to do with who was in my party. My party was Squall, Zell, and Rinoa, and it crashes. I played through it again just to see if it always did that, and I noticed that the problem was on a train, and Selphie always rushes to the open door on trains, so I figured maybe it would work with her there, and it did. Problem solved.

Heh, I tried the exact same thing and it still froze up on me...weird indeed,

So you started a new game and got there with that party and it froze up?

No I mean I loaded up your game to try it and it did in fact freeze up... I to noticed that selphie wasnt in the group after remembering that I usually have her and switched group members to include her yet the same thing happened after she went in through the door.
