Hi!
I've a problem with FF7.
The game runs too fast in different situations.
The primary problem is the battle mode.
I cant fight very well when I havent enough time to choose the commands. The plainest example is the limit from Tifa. The slot machine spins as fast as no one can control it.
Another situation is the menu. It build up very fast (faster than normal).
I cant find a reason for this for the game runs normal before I reinstall my windows.
My computer:
AMD Athlon XP2000+
gForce 4 TI 4200 64MB
1024 MB RAM
Windows XP SP2
The game (german version) runs with the chocobo patch, software-rendering and in full-screen mode 640*480.
Does anyone know a solution?

Yeah, it's the proc and video card. They're "too good", and so ff7 loves to just speed on ahead. Wait till you get to the motorcycle chase! =D
Best thing to do is turn on Vsynch =)

it the processor, the higher Mhz is, the speed it get faster

Not sure if it will help but u can reduce the battle speed in one of the menu options. Doubt it will help with limit break tho..

Wasn't there a program fix for this.. Like one where you could slow down your processor? If you were running the PSX version through an emulator I'm pretty sure you could fix it with the settings there.. I could be crazy about the program though ...

Yo DarkestDream, I don't know if I left this in the last release of FF7w, so I'll have to ask you to check (I don't have FF7 installed right know), press 4 during gameplay to slow down the game if it's not there I will look in my backup disk and upload the updated FF7w.dll (press 4 again for normal speed)
