when i install the game, it gets to 29% then says
"an error occured durring the movie data process: - 117
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v518/Knivesx2004/ff7installerror.bmp)
is there a way to fix this?

Hi,

It seems the data on your CD got curropted. Try another copy of the game or try to extract & make ISO of the CD with the help of some software. Mount the image on a virtual Drive and see if it may help.

nope i baught it legit and it is the platinum ed if that matters.

Hmmmm, then I'm not sure what's wrong. I'd guess that you've already checked that the disc isn't dirty?

the disk is fine, and ive tried it on all 5 of my comp's and they all stop at 29 or like 78 in minimum

i guess im not getting any help here...
