Title: Extraction
Post by: rmco2003 on 2005-05-01 17:29:48
I was wondering if there was a way of decompressing the audio data file on the Final Fantasy 10 disc so I can extract the sound effects, is this possible?

ok, I've just tried Psound and that doesn't find anything on the disk, I've heard the FFX disk uses a "Virtual File System" which hides the key data files including the sounds, how can I make these files be displayed? All I need from the disks is the sound effects, I don't need the voices or the music, but I can't use samples from the game as they'll have music in the background, so I'm stuck for what to do now...
