Hey fice, did you ever get the background editor working? I uninstalled ff7, so i have no idea what cosmos above version 0.87 do.

he got it working .. atleast it works on mine.. although it takes awhile to unzip and actually run.. dont know why either...

Umm, not exactly. Background viewing works, you can export the different layers too. The only part you can actually edit at the moment is the palette (which I think you could do in 0.87 anyway?). The newer versions just have bug fixes to the main (text) editor.

hey fice.. 1 question.
when i open up a level why do i always get loads of misc texts (with a load of junk in em)and no proper dialog?

Any level in particular? or is the newer version doing this for all of your levels?
